Getting to Nosara

Most guests fly into Liberia (LIR) — roughly a two-and-a-half-hour drive — or San José (SJO) for a longer, scenic transfer. The final stretch into Nosara is unpaved, so a 4x4 is the comfortable choice, especially in the green season when the road can be muddy.

Getting around

Nosara spreads across Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada and the town center, so having your own wheels makes everything easier — beaches, restaurants, yoga studios and the surf. Golf carts are popular for short hops around Guiones; ATVs and e-bikes handle the back roads nicely.

How it works

Tell us your arrival time, group size and plans, and we'll have the right vehicle delivered and ready. We'll walk you through the vehicle and the local driving notes before you head out, and we're on call if anything needs swapping mid-trip.
