Ostional is a protected area and one of the largest and most important Olive Ridley sea turtles nesting sites in the whole world, with thousands of turtles arriving each year to lay eggs on the beach and thousands more being born on these shores and venturing into the ocean. This seasonal tour, described by many as a once-in-a-lifetime experience, is without a doubt one of the best things to do in Nosara and an absolute must if you’re visiting in the right season.
